About
Hi my name is Tina…
I live in San Diego, CA with my handsome, ever-supportive husband, two giggly children, a Doberman Pinscher, a Pug, and a couple of cogs (cats that act like a dogs). Life here at the House of Wilson is full and cHaoTic at times. We are each, in our own way, continually striving to make and leave this world a better place.
As an online direct response marketer, I bring exciting offers to market. I’ve always loved psychology and learning what makes people tick and gets them to take action. Often times, businesses will have phenomenal products to offer, but have trouble getting them in the hands of their customers simply because potential customers don’t even know it exists. Or sometimes, people may just need a little extra nudging to get them to take that first step towards trying what we know could really help them in some way. For me, there’s nothing quite like being able to help as many individuals as possible find what they are looking for.. an answer to their problems.
I’ve pretty much been hard-wired for entrepreneurship since the day I was born, though it took me a couple decades to realize. I come from a very traditional family background where the basic tenet revolved around getting excellent grades, going to an excellent college, getting an excellent job and/or getting a professional degree. For the most part, I did these things but not without a great deal of angst, frustration, and overall feelings of dissatisfaction. I was so busy trying to do what others thought was right for me and stay “on course” that I rarely took the time to truly think, create, envision, and develop beyond the seemingly tight space around me.
I felt like I was acting against my own grain. To alleviate the tension, I would frequently partake in a multitude of “side-projects” and fill my void with all kinds of extra-curricular activities and endeavors. As a result, my entire life I’ve heard, “Why don’t you stay focused?” “Why don’t you just stick with the plan?” Translation: What is WRONG with you?!?
Alas, I have the answer. Absolutely nothing is wrong with me. In fact, everything is right with me. I simply prevent getting boxed in by staying open to alternatives, and my ability to adapt my plans helps me take advantage of opportunities. I am a creator, an innovator, and an experimenter. On the flip-side, it is stressful for me to feel I have to conform, avoid potential risks, or stick with a script.
I am an entrepreneur.
I’m on a never-ending journey of freedom. I can’t wait to wake up each morning before the rest of the world because each day brings a new opportunity to be more, to do more, and to give more. This is the life I choose.
So, to my fellow fearless, devoted, strong, wise, inspiring and aspiring entrepreneur friends, I value you so much. I get you. We are a unique bunch. And I appreciate you for sharing this common discipline and lifestyle with me!
Stick around. Poke about. If I can be of any help to you, please let me know.
With a big, fat, jiggly hug,
